ABout Us

We have two boats and each has it’s own Captain; the Captain of Canaveral Kings is Joey Spoerle and the Captain of Sea K II is Billy Fazio.
Captains Joey and Billy both grew up on the Space Coast and have been fishing locally since childhood. Joey was a member of the United States Coast Guard and Billy worked in commercial fishing for years before co-founding Canaveral Kings Sportfishing Charters.
We have our boats designed and set up with autopilots, troll valves, and a helm in the cockpit. We customized our boats this way so that the Captain can easily drive the boats as well as perform duties a mate typically would. This allows our Captain to be more involved while providing every guest with an exceptional fishing experience. Our captains can help as much or as little as you would like.

Fishing is fishing. Some days weather conditions, water quality, stars just don’t always align like we want them to. Thankfully these days are few and far between. Our captains are full-time fishermen that not only charter fish but they commercial fish, and run private sportfishing yachts all over the world. They are among the very best at what they do. If there are fish to catch, the captains will put you on them! Although I can’t say we always catch fish, 99.9% of the time, our groups do catch quality fish on all of our trips.
The drive from Orlando to Port Canaveral is approximately 45 minutes to an hour. We are located at 800 Scallop Dr. Cape Canaveral, Florida, 32920. We are in close proximity to Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Kissimmee, Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studios.
Captains check the marine forecast to make sure the seas are calm and a favorable day for all.

All bait, tackle, licenses, ice, fish cleaning services as well as a friendly, and knowledgeable Captain
Your food, drinks, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, cameral, and comfortable clothing.

This question really depends on sea conditions. Both of our captains have young children and absolutely love taking kids fishing! When booking your trip, please notify the Captain of any children!

Perfect!! We love showing our first-timers how awesome the ocean is. With help from one of our experienced captains, we promise you will be reeling fish in like a pro. Your day may also provide you a view of sea turtles, dolphins, birds, and an abundance of other sea life.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards or cash. Please confirm your preferred payment method when booking your trip.
The short answer to this question is yes. With that being said, a tip is discretionary based on the service you have been provided and attitude. The crew works for a small wage, much like a waiter or waitress. If you feel the Captain provided you with an outstanding service with a good attitude, a 20% tip is customary.
