BOOKING GUIDELINES AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Our Guidelines and Cancellation Policy ensure that the booking process and your experience with Canaveral Kings is easy from the start! Please review the Guidelines and Cancellation Policy below to ensure a successful experience!
To finalize a reservation, a phone number, an email address and a credit card must be on file with Ashley, along with a written email/text message commitment to meet at the designated reservation time and date.
1. When booking a charter with Canaveral Kings, we require a phone number, an email and a credit card on file. We do not require a deposit when booking but do require a credit card number. Nothing will be charged to your credit card unless you cancel within 72 hours of the trip, as per our Cancellation Policy (see below). Payment will be taken care of on the day of the trip.
2. We require that all reservations are finalized with a credit card no later than 3pm the day before your trip. If by 3:01pm a reservation is not finalized, the trip will be considered off and the Captain will be released for the following day.
3. Each angler for the reservation must sign our Waiver of Consent before the charter begins.
Unfortunately, not all of life goes as planned. We understand. A Guest can cancel by calling 321.506.9047 and speaking with Ashley directly, or can send a text message to 321.506.9047 to cancel.
Also, a Guest can send an email to Ashley@canaveralkings.com if they need to cancel a fishing charter with Canaveral Kings.
If a Guest cancels with more than 72 hours notice from the reservation time, there will be no charge to the credit card on file.
If a Guest cancels within 72-24 hours of the reservation time, the credit card on file will be charged 50% of the services reserved.
If a Guest cancels within 24 hours of the reservation, a full charge of the services reserved will be charged to the credit card on file.
NO SHOW POLICY
If a Guest is a No Show during the day of the reservation, a full charge of services reserved will be charged to the credit card on file. A No Show is considered when a Guest is more than 1 hour late to the reservation location.
If a Guest gets lost, or is running behind due to an unforeseeable circumstance, they can call the Captain the day of the charter and both will work together to find a resolution.
CANCELLATION FROM CANAVERAL KINGS
Unfortunately, Mother Nature does not always cooperate with future engagements. It is Canaveral Kings’ first priority to provide and safe and enjoyable trip for our Guests. It is ultimately the licensed Captain’s evaluation of the seas and weather that will determine the safety of the trip.
If Canaveral Kings determines the weather or sea environment unsafe for a charter trip, Canaveral Kings will do all we can to reschedule the reservation with our Guests.
We will attempt to reach our Guests up to three (3) times before 7pm the day before the reservation in order to communicate a need to reschedule. This is why a phone number and email MUST be on file for each reservation.
There will be no charge to any credit card on file if Canaveral Kings cancels the reservation.
If, for any unforeseeable reason, our boat(s) is/are unable to take charters at the date of their reservation, Canaveral Kings will reach out to our Guests up to three (3) times before 7pm the day before the reservation in order to communicate a need to reschedule. If Canaveral Kings reschedules a reservation due to maintenance, we will offer our Guests a 25% discount for services reserved, due to the inconvenience. This discount must be used within eight (8) weeks from the time of cancellation.
